Bayern Munich’s newest signing has been outlined.

“The Bavarians are willing to pay big money to sign longtime favorite Pedri, 20, of Barcelona,” Spanish outlet Fichajes reported on Monday (June 26).

Pedri is considered the future of Barcelona’s defense. Since joining the club in 2019, he has established himself as an integral part of the first team after spending time on loan and making 111 appearances.

He is considered the true heir apparent to Iniesta. Pedri, who took over Iniesta’s number 8 shirt last year, has a bright future ahead of him, as he has proven to have excellent football sense and accurate passing.

His potential has led to numerous transfer rumors. Big clubs such as Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been in the running to sign him since this summer.

The transfer never materialized. In an interview last month, Pedri said, “Barcelona is my dream club. I want to stay at Barcelona for as much time as possible,” he said in an interview last month, dismissing the rumors.

The possibility of a move hasn’t completely disappeared. According to the report, Barcelona are in financial difficulties and will not block a move for Pedri if a huge offer comes in 스포츠토토.

That’s when Munich stepped in. “Munich are planning to offer Barcelona a transfer fee of no less than €100 million and no more than €120 million in order to convince them to sell Pedri,” the outlet said.

That’s a lot of money for a player in Munich’s history. The Bavarians reportedly feel that this is a fair price to pay for a player of Pedri’s ability and potential.
