Former Watford ST drops bombshell on ‘world class’ Kane…”People who know me know I’m better than Kane”

Former Watford striker Troy Deeney has explained why he thinks he is better than Harry Kane.

“Kane is a good player, that’s for sure, but if you ask me if he can do the things I can do, he probably can’t,” Deeney told the Winners Talking Podcast on Monday (April 29).

“Is he a good header, no. Can he control the ball better, can he keep the ball better when there are two defenders in front of him, no. If you’re winning in the 85th minute and you need a substitute, he can’t do what I can do.”

Kane is a bona fide “world-class” striker. Having made his debut in 2011 as a Tottenham Hotspur youth product, Kane has gone on to become a club legend, scoring 280 goals and providing 64 assists in 435 appearances in a Spurs shirt. He’s also a three-time Premier League (PL) top scorer, a one-time assists leader, and a six-time member of the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Team of the Year, making him one of the most accomplished strikers in the world. 메이저사이트

Despite moving to the unfamiliar terrain of Germany this season, Kane’s class hasn’t waned. The £100 million move to Munich has seen him make a huge impact, with seven goals and three assists in five league games and one goal and one assist in the UEFA Champions League (UCL). In the fifth round of the league, against Bochum, Kane showed why he is one of the best strikers in the world with three goals and two assists to lead his team to a convincing win.

However, in Deeney’s eyes, Kane appears to be far from perfect. “Anyone who knows me, and anyone who has played with me, will tell you this,” says Deeney, who now plays and coaches at Forest Green Rovers FC in EFL League Two. “Anyone who knows me and anyone who has played against me will say, ‘Can he honestly say he beat me?

Many fans reportedly reacted with rebuttal and ridicule. “Some fans who watched Deeney’s clip were confused, with one saying: ‘Wow, did he really say that?'” the UK’s Talk Sport reported.

“Another fan added: ‘I hope Deeney rewatches Kane’s performance in Tottenham’s 3-2 win over Manchester City last year and reconsiders his comments,'” according to Talk Sport.
