Hwang Sun-hong will start the quarterfinal with a new second line combination.
Head coach Hwang Sun-hong’s Asian Games men’s football team will take on Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Thursday at the Huanglong Sports Center in Hangzhou, China.
Uzbekistan, Hwang’s quarterfinal opponent, is ranked 75th by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), but is a powerhouse at this age group. Uzbekistan have been successful at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Asian Cup, winning the title in 2018, finishing fourth in 2020 and runners-up last year. Five years ago, the two teams met in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang tournament, where Uzbekistan won 4-3 on penalties after extra time. 레고토토
