Once Liverpool’s future…joining fifth tier at 27 ‘endless downward spiral’

Once highly touted, the downward spiral continues.

Ebbsfleet United, a club in the fifth tier of English soccer, announced the signing of Jordan Ive, 27, on its official website on Friday.

Ive is a name that should be familiar to soccer fans. He joined Liverpool in 2012 from fourth division Wycombe Wanderers. He was just 16 years old at the time. He’s a flanker who uses his physicality and strength to destroy opposing flanks.

In 2014-15, an injury to the offensive line briefly gave him a lot of opportunities. However, he failed to establish himself as a regular starter. It’s a fall without wings. He was once a promising player on the flanks of the Premier League, but quickly fell to the lower leagues.
