Is Tottenham Hotspur’s title run a reality?

Tottenham defeated Fulham 2-0 in the ninth round of the 2023/24 English Premier League (EPL) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, at 4 a.m. ET on Thursday.

Tottenham remained unbeaten and regained the top spot in the EPL after briefly losing it to Manchester City.

Son Heung-min started as a frontline striker, moving around and looking to score.

Heung-min opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a deflected shot, which paid off in the 36th minute.

After receiving a pass from Hischalisson, Son took a simple dribble before unleashing a right-footed curling shot that went in the back of the net. It was his seventh EPL goal of the season.

Son didn’t stop there. His first assist of the season came when he set up James Maddison’s goal with a deflected pass.

“Fulham were stunned by the brilliant way Son scored,” said the British publication The Guardian. Micky van der Vaart’s defense was equally impressive.”

Son has been in fine form this season. The departure of Kane, the EPL’s top goalscoring duo, raised some eyebrows, but they were unfounded.

Son has been playing as a frontline striker this season, solving a lot of Tottenham’s problems.

Son’s first goal of the season came against Burnley. He scored three goals to complete his hat-trick, ending a promising start.

It was the fourth hat trick of his EPL career against Burnley this season, joining Southampton (2020/21), Aston Villa (2021/22), and Leicester City (2022/23).

Against Arsenal, Son’s multi-goal performance prevented the Gunners from losing and secured a valuable point away from home. He also scored his 150th goal for Tottenham.

Son was also hot on his feet against Liverpool. He opened the scoring with an assist from James Maddison and reached the milestone of 200 European goals.

Son’s six-goal haul in September was nothing short of spectacular. He was rewarded with the EPL Player of the Month award. It’s the fourth time he’s won the award in his career, after September 2016, April 2017, and October 2020.

He also scored a goal against Fulham to take his Tottenham tally to 152.

Tottenham have had a rough start to the season under manager Enze Postecoglou. There are positive signs of life as they cruise.

Spurs are unbeaten in nine games and sitting atop the EPL table. They haven’t won the title since the 1960/61 season. It’s a similar trend to what happened back then, and fans are getting excited about what could be. 짱구카지노

“Spurs play with energy, passion and creativity that overwhelms the opposition,” says The Guardian. They don’t look out of place as title challengers. They are currently unstoppable.”
