The center back played for Swansea City in England from 2008 to 2016. A player who is familiar to Korean soccer fans because of his friendship with Ki Sung-yueng of the South Korean national team has made a ‘shocking claim’.

The main character is Ashley Williams. He played for Swansea City, Everton, and the Welsh national team. He appeared on a YouTube video with legendary Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, who made a comment about Son Heung-min.

The bottom line is that Son is the perfect striker for Arsenal. Not any other team, but Arsenal, Tottenham’s biggest rival, arch-enemy, and North London Derby opponent. Tottenham’s ace and captain. It’s a shocking claim.

“Tottenham’s Son Heung-min would be the perfect striker for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal,” Williams claimed.

“He’s world class. World class. One of the best strikers in the EPL. Probably every team in the world wants to sign him. I think there’s a lot of teams that believe he would be perfect at Arsenal,” he reiterated.

“I believe he will make Arsenal even stronger. Maybe he can replace Gabriel Jesus, who is not scoring a lot of goals.”

That’s just Williams’s opinion, not necessarily what will happen. “I don’t think Son will go from Tottenham to Arsenal. But it would be perfect if he went to Arsenal,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Son has been a regular in Tottenham’s starting lineup this season in place of Harry Kane, who left for Germany. He is third in the league in scoring with nine goals. And he’s been strong against Arsenal.

This season was no different. On September 24, Tottenham drew 2-2 with Arsenal in the sixth round.
