Tottenham to replace ‘300 million a week’ Son Heung-min with ‘400-967 million a week’ Blahovic… Refocus on Ivan Toney to Blahovic

Tottenham will outbid Son Heung-min for Dusan Blagojevich (Juventus).

“Tottenham are set to offer Juventus £68.5 million ($96.7 billion) to bring in Dusan Blahovic in the January winter transfer window, with the Bianconeri ready to let him go,” TeamTalk reported on Jan. 8.

With Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich, Tottenham have also been targeting Vlahovic to fill the void left by Son Heung-min’s Asian Cup absence.

“There have been reports in recent days that Tottenham have made Brentford striker Ivan Toney their top priority. However, Tottenham are ready to switch to Blahovic,” explaining that “Tottenham have been trying to sign Blahovic for some time, especially since he was advised of a move to Spurs when Kane left.”

After Kane’s departure from Bayern Munich, Tottenham started the season well. They had a solid start to the season, going unbeaten in their first 10 games with eight wins and two draws.

However, the front line was a problem. As a substitute, Lacazette stepped in, but it didn’t work out. Eventually, Tottenham manager Enzi Postecoglou moved him to the flanks and put Son up front.

Son lived up to the faith with a hat-trick against Burnley. He followed that up with a multi-goal performance in the North London derby against Arsenal in a 2-2 draw. Against Liverpool, he scored one goal to help his team win.

The scoring streak continued in October. After scoring a goal and an assist against Fulham, Son added a goal against Crystal Palace.

With eight goals in the Premier League, Heung-min is now tied with Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Elling Holland (Manchester City) for the most goals in the league.

But against Chelsea, injuries piled up and key players were sent off. They went on to lose three straight games. Son Heung-min got his first taste of goal against Man City. He also scored an own goal in the 3-3 draw.

Son joined Tottenham from Leverkusen in July 2015. In his first season, he struggled to adapt and pushed for a return to the familiar German Bundesliga. However, he handled the pressure well and was persuaded to stay by Mauricio Pochettino.

As a result, Son remains a living legend at Tottenham. This season, he was named captain of the team and continues to lead the offense even after the departure of Harry Kane (Bayern Munich).

Upon becoming captain, Son reportedly texted vice-captain James Maddison and suggested that they gather in a circle in front of the away fans to make them feel part of the team.

Since then, he has shown his captain’s class by taking the players to greet the away fans who have consistently supported him and thanking them.

Against Man City, Son opened the scoring. In the sixth minute, after defending a corner kick, Kulusebski sent a long ball forward. Heung-min ran into the empty space, won a tussle with Doku, and stormed on. He cut in from the right side of the box and beat goalkeeper Ederson with a sharp shot.

It was the kind of performance that belongs to a City killer. Up until this point, Son had seven goals and three assists in 17 games against City. He added another goal to take his tally to eight against the Citizens.

It was Son’s ninth goal in the league and his first in four games since scoring against Crystal Palace in late October. With the goal, he moved within one goal of second-place Mohamed Salah (10). It also gave him 112 career PL goals, moving him past Sadio Mane and Dion Dublin into sole possession of 24th place on the all-time PL goalscorers list.

Son Heung-min scored an own goal. In the ninth minute, Alvarez curled in a free kick from the right that hit Son on the thigh and deflected into the Tottenham goal. It was 1-1, and the game was back to even.

Son Heung-min scored a goal and an own goal for Tottenham, putting his name on the scoreboard for both Spurs and Man City in less than 10 minutes.

According to football statistician Opta, Son became the first player in 24 years to score a goal and an own goal in the first 10 minutes of a PL match since Gareth Barry scored a goal and an own goal in the first 10 minutes of a match between Aston Villa and Charlton in May 1999.

Against Aston Villa, Son Heung-min was silent. To make matters worse, the team lost. It was a game that highlighted the importance of Son’s role.

Spurs will be without him for about a month as he travels to the Asian Cup in Qatar next January. It’s a compulsory tournament, so Spurs must sign a striker to replace Son in the winter transfer window.

Blahovic is on Spurs’ radar. The Serbian international is a 6-foot-3 striker who has been on the radar of scouts across Europe.

Blahovic blossomed in the Italian Serie A at Fiorentina before moving to Juventus in January last year. Between Fiorentina and Juventus, he scored 24 goals in the league alone, making him the second highest scorer of the season.

Last season, he struggled to make an impact due to leadership issues with coach Massimiliano Allegri and injuries. He only scored 10 goals in 27 league appearances.

His form has dropped off since joining Juventus, but his talent was still recognized enough to attract interest from several big clubs, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea during the Kane transfer last summer.

This season, Blahovic has scored five goals in 12 games despite being injured.

“Postecoglou still feels that he needs more from his central striker,” says TeamTalk. They want to solve the problem of missing many chances despite dominating games this season. Blahovic’s signing is expected to be highly competitive. Juventus are also ready to accept a big offer.”

“Tottenham will offer Blahovic a £12.8 million ($21 million) salary. If the deal goes through, Vlahovic will become the club’s highest paid player after Kane’s departure.” In weekly wages, that’s about 400 million won 캡틴토토 주소. That’s more than Son Heung-min, who reportedly earns 300 million won.
