Veteran right-hander Michael Waka, 32, received a multi-year contract.

Local media, including “ESPN,” reported on the 16th (Korea Standard Time) that Waka agreed to a two-year, $32 million contract.

Waka pitched in 249 games in 11 seasons in the major leagues, going 88-54 with a 3.96 ERA. 헤라카지노

In the 2023 season, he pitched in 24 games for the San Diego Padres, playing 13 1/3 innings, 14-4 with a 3.22 ERA, 1.161 WHIP, and 1.0 home runs, 2.9 walks, and 8.3 strikeouts per 9 innings.

Waka came to the market when the team rejected the two-year, $32 million option, and he himself rejected the three-year, $18.5 million option.

And got a multi-year contract. It’s a contract of the scale San Diego could have received if they executed the option.

Again, he had the opportunity to re-challenge the market a year later. It included an opt-out clause that could come back to the market a year later.

Incentives of 500,000 U.S. dollars per season are different. Incentives are known to be related to innings pitched.

Waka also came to the market, rejecting player options. He is back in the team with Kansas City contractor Seth Lugo.

Kansas City, which recorded the eighth-lowest annual salary of $92 million in the Major League last season, has been aggressively strengthening its power this offseason.

They have invested $82 million in recruiting Waka and Lugo, as well as left-hander Will Smith, right-handed utility Garrett Hampson and right-handed outfielder Hunter Renfroe.

Currently, he is making the most aggressive moves with the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central.
