Kim Joo-hyung (21), the “young blood” of Korean men’s golf, was selected as one of the players under the age of 24 on the PGA Tour to watch in 2024.

The PGA Tour first mentioned Kim Joo-hyung on its website on the 29th (Korea Standard Time) when it selected 24 prospects.

The PGA Tour evaluated that Kim Joo-hyung has already won the PGA Tour three times and has achieved amazing results in major competitions.

Kim Joo-hyung tied for 8th at this year’s major U.S. Open and 2nd at the British Open.

He also won the PGA Tour’s Shriners Children’s Open for 2022 and 2023 in a row, and was recorded as a successful player who defended the title at the youngest age in the last 100 years.

Kim Joo-hyung’s performance was not good from February to June this year, but he finished the season with good performance after changing his coach to Chris Como, the PGA Tour said.

“I think the first two wins came too early,” Kim Joo-hyung said. “It took time to win the third championship, but it was very sweet because I practiced hard.”

The PGA Tour cited Nikolai Hoigor (22, Denmark) as another “younggun” to pay attention to.

He has already won three DP World Tour titles. Notably, he beat top-class players in the final round of the DP World Tour season this year.

Hoigor, who will become an official member of the PGA Tour next year, is considered the successor to Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) with his drive shots and elaborate wedge shots that ranked fifth in distance.

In addition, Akshay Bhatia (21, USA), who has made a name for himself since he was an amateur, and Keita Nakajima (23, Japan), the Japanese professional golf tour prize money king, were also selected as young players to play on the PGA Tour next season. 랭크카지노
