Djokovic and Bailas were named the World Sports Journalists’ Association’s Player of the Year

Novak Djokovic (Serbia), the world’s No. 1 player in the men’s singles in tennis, and Simone Biles (USA), the “Gymn Queen,” have been selected as the 2023 Player of the Year by the World Sports Reporters Association (AIPS).

In this year’s team vote, Argentina’s men’s soccer team topped the list for the second consecutive year.

With 666 votes, Argentina’s men’s national soccer team defeated Manchester City in second place with 440 votes.
