Guardiola named Phil Foden the best player in the EPL at the moment.

British media “Sports Bible” reported on the 4th (Korea time), “After Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United, Pep Guardiola picked the best player in the Premier League.”

Manchester City came from behind to beat Manchester United 3-1 in the 27th round derby match of the English Premier League (EPL) held at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, the U.K. on Thursday (Korea time). In the match, Foden scored multiple goals to lead his team to victory.

In the 10th minute of the second half, Foden received Rodri’s pass from the right side and tapped into the center, and showed a fantastic winding shot to score a 1-1 balance.

Foden did not end there. In the 35th minute of the second half, Foden and Julián Alvarez exchanged one-two passes from the left side and no Manchester United defender could keep up with Foden, eventually making Foden turn the tables. 고소득알바

After the match, Guardiola named Foden the best player in the Premier League. “You have to look at the number of games he plays. He was always a talented player, but now he is more mature and understands the game better, especially defensively,” Guardiola told BBC Match of the Day.

“He can create scenes in the centre, on the right and on the left as well. There is nothing I can say. He is the best player in the Premier League for the amount of work he does at the moment. It is unbelievable,” he added.

Regarding Foden’s contribution to the defense, Guardiola said, “When Foden scored two goals, I felt more joy than anything else. We don’t negotiate about it. Anyone who doesn’t play defense doesn’t stay on the team. He loves football and he lives for it. His work ethic is incredible.”

“It would have been bad if we didn’t win, but we matched the performance and the result and it was a really good game. We started really well but after the first long ball seven minutes later we weren’t on the right line. I was a little more nervous at the end of the first half, but it was a really good game,” Guardiola said of the first half.
